Mechanical Engineer - Machine Design

Are you passionate about building the machines that build everything else ? We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a sharp eye for detail, a flair for creativity, and the hands-on know-how to design and deliver custom industrial equipment from concept to completion.
🛠️ What You’ll Do
- Lead mechanical design projects from start to finish, taking full ownership of timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Apply advanced engineering and machine design principles to create custom industrial equipment tailored to client needs.
- Develop and maintain mechanical drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation .
- Analyze current designs for performance, cost, and reliability improvements .
- Conduct on-site inspections and supervise installations at customer locations.
- Partner with assembly technicians to troubleshoot and debug equipment .
- Review and approve detailed drawings, including tolerance stack-up analyses .
- Help establish and refine engineering and drafting standards .
- Initiate and execute Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) as needed.
🎓 What You Bring
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Degree preferred but not required with solid experience).
- Demonstrated experience designing custom industrial equipment —you know how to think outside the box and inside the machine.
- Creative, driven, and detail-oriented —you care about the little things that make a big difference.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes like machining, welding, and fabrication.
- CAD mastery —2D and 3D required; Inventor strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis .
