Job Description

Our client, one of the largest utility companies in the United States , is looking for someone to join their team as a Mechanical Engineer. This role is hybrid, with 3 days onsite in Fort Wayne, IN.

*This is a year long W2 contract*

In this role, you will provide day to day support in the area of engineering for all projects; develop and maintain structural, systems and controls and or other engineering specifications, procedures and directives.

What You Will Be Doing

• Participate in pre-production meetings for pipe, fittings, flanges, valves, and pressure vessels
• Participate in materials testing programs and research and development
• Work with other junior Engineers on a common project
• Design materials, structures, and systems while considering the limitations imposed by practicality, regulation, safety, and cost

Required Skills & Experience

• ABET accredited
• 1+ years of experience
