Job Description

Our client is a large dermatology practice who offers a wide variety of treatments for general dermatology, cosmetic procedures, skin cancer surgeries and acne treatments. The office is located in the Dunwoody Atlanta area. This person will be responsible for handling basic clinical tasks to ensure that the operations of the practice run smoothly and efficiently.

Our client is open to recent college graduates who are looking for experience prior to furthering their education with PA school or medical school!

Pay: Up to $24/hr

Hours:

6:30-4:30 Monday-Thursday, 1/2 on Friday

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

• Preparing Examination / Operating Rooms
• Stocking Examination / Operating Rooms
• Sterilizing Surgical Instruments and preparing tray for surgery
• Assisting physician with examinations / surgeries, counseling patients
• Assisting with MOHS surgeries
• Rooming patients
• Answering calls/assisting front desk as needed
• Charting/documentation of patient information

Medical Assistant Qualifications:

• Someone that is engaged, empathetic and conscientious
• Excellent communication skills both written, oral and strong reading comprehension skills
• Experience charting/scribing a plus!
