Responsible for ensuring a professional atmosphere in the nursing unit. Demonstrates good public relations skills during interaction with physicians, patients, visitors, and other hospital staff. Greets, directs, and gives non-professional factual information to patients and personnel from other departments. Critical to success of patient and physician satisfaction. Additional InformationQualifications/Requirements Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Required licensures/certifications Current BLSSkills and Abilities Good oral and written communication skills in the English language.Bilingual a plus.Medical terminology.ExperienceModerately advanced knowledge of ECG rhythms; knowledge of 12 lead ECG preferred.Previous experience as a monitor technician preferred.
