Job Description
We provide healthcare and science products to hospitals and we are in need of delivery truck drivers.
Drivers are responsible for transporting product to hospital customers, unloads inventory to shelves, maintains accurate counts of inventory, in 24ft truck. Must have exceptional customer service skills and maintain a professional demeanor.
Monday to Friday 5:00am til 2pm and off on the weekends.
MUST BE RELIABLE AND ON TIME DAIILY
Duties:
- Drive company truck carrying supply carts for hospitals.
- Load and unload truck at client hospitals and deliver carts and other STERIS products as directed.
- Take cart(s) to designated areas and counts all products on shelves. Unload cart(s) and place product onto the shelves as designated (rotating stock according to dates.)
- Daily pick-up of used products.
- Keep accurate records/logs.
Education Degree
- High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience
- One (1) year previous customer service experience
- Must posses a valid Driver’s license
- Must posses a current DOT Physical card
- Must pass a company road test
- Able to push/pull loaded carts of hospital supplies (weighing up to 400 pounds) on and off truck and transfer to designated areas of a client hospital.
- Able to communicate professionally with clients and maintain a positive attitude.
