Job Description
Now hiring for Nurse Managers, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Critical Care Step Down, and a Cardiac Pulmonary Care Unit Nurse Manager for On site Nursing Manager positions in Brooklyn, NY.
Shift
- Mon – Fri, 8 hrs Day shift – 8:00am-4:30pm
Required Qualifications
- BSN degree and MSN degree is required. We are prepared to meet with a candidate who is currently enrolled in an MSN program and will be graduating in a year
- Current New York State Licensed Registered Nurse
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications required as well
- At least 3 – 5 years’ experience as a Nurse Manager
- Progressive leadership experience required in the areas for which we are recruiting.
Preferred Qualification
- Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) Certification
Ideal Candidate
- Must have 3-5 years’ experience
- Must have leadership experience
- Proactive, communicative, able to work in fast-paced environment
Reporting Structure
· Reports to AVP, Education and Critical Care & Telemetry, Nursing
Responsibility
- Total # of FTE’s – 34 with another Manager ( MICU )
- Total # of FTE's - 38 with another Manager (Cardiac)
- Total # of FTE’s – 38 with another Manager
