Position: Full-Time Day Shift Nurse Manager - Intensive Care Unit

At Mercy Medical Center, we’re looking for a Nurse Manager for our Intensive Care Unit. This role involves staffing coordination, staff competency assessment, regulatory oversight, fiscal operations, and annual performance appraisals.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the Director with performance improvement activities, unit and patient satisfaction issues, and policy development.
- Ensure high-quality care standards and a safe environment in compliance with infection control standards, specialty organizations, DPH, and The Joint Commission standards.
- Partner and communicate effectively with physicians to achieve objectives and maintain positive medical staff relations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Licensure: Valid and current Massachusetts RN licensure.
- Experience: At least 3 years of progressive nursing management experience in an ICU, with a preference for 5 or more years of combined ICU or Critical Care experience.
- Certifications: Current BLS or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
