Pride Health is hiring RN Manager to support our client’s medical facility based in Santa Barbara, CA. This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Santa Barbara, CA
Job Type: 3 months - W2 contract - with possible extension
Schedule:
SHIFT: 5x8, 0645 - 1530 (no weekends)
Pay Range: $80- $83 per hr.
(Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)
Responsibilities:
- Supports the standards, mission, goals, and objectives
- Responsible for the development, coordination and evaluation of the following programs: Surgical Services Perianesthesia orientation, staff development, and patient/family education.
- Contributes to quality patient care through the direction and evaluation of the quality of the educational programs delivered as well as by following Cottage Health System’s and department specific policies and procedures.
- Assumes a leadership role, is a resource for others on current educational theory, professional development, and evidence based practice.
- Directs and assists assigned personnel with their responsibilities and builds teamwork through leadership, guidance and direction toward a common goal.
- Demonstrates motivation, creativity, and flexibility; and serves as resource person and role model to other staff.
Education/Experience:
Minimum: BSN
Preferred: Master's Degree
Minimum: Current CA RN license
Preferred: ASPAN

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by physicians.
Responsibilities
- Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
- Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
- Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure
- CPR, ACLS, and BCLS Certification
- Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
- Candidate must be able to lift and position patients on endoscopy stretcher and transport patients
