Operations Industrial Engineer

Locations: Kentucky, New Jersey, and Illinois.

As an Operations Improvement Engineer, you will play a vital role in identifying inefficiencies and driving continuous improvement in our operations. Your work will directly impact our success in delivering top-notch logistics solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support 1-3 distribution centers, working closely with Operations Management.
• Conduct traditional Industrial Engineering tasks, including staff planning models, productivity improvements, and best practice identification.
• Perform advanced root cause analysis to enhance cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze operational performance data, focusing on service quality and efficiency.
• Regularly identify and describe process deviations and opportunities for layout optimization.
• Conduct time studies and implement best practices for operational excellence.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering (0-2 years of applicable experience preferred).
• Familiarity with automation design and implementation is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; comfort with Visio, AutoCAD, and MS Project is beneficial.

Physical Demands: This role involves working in a warehouse environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. You may need to lift up to 50 lbs and walk frequently throughout the facility.

Salary Range: Illinois: $62,475-$83,300, New Jersey: $65,175-$86,900, Kentucky: $59,700-$79,600. This is a reasonable estimate for the starting salary, which may vary based on skills, location, experience, and internal comparisons.
