Job Description

Our busy, innovative orthodontic practice is growing and seeking a clinical assistant to join our fun-loving team! An enthusiastic and committed individual is a must. We are a close-knit team who depend on each other to be proactive and supportive in order to maintain a great work environment and provide superior patient care. Good interpersonal and verbal skills are necessary to develop positive relationships with our patients. Primary responsibility will be to assist in clinical care of patients. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning and maintenance of the clinical area and equipment, sterilization of instruments, and stocking of supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist in clinical care of patients
• Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Keeping supplies well-stocked at all times
• Take medical imaging as required, ensuring high-quality results for accurate diagnosis.
• Utilize dental software system for patient records.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Maintain knowledge of anatomy relevant to orthodontics

Experience

• Previous dental experience in a dental clinic setting is required.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and medical imaging techniques.
• Knowledge of anatomy related to dental practices.

Salary ranges from $18-$28/hour depending on experience. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, PTO, 401k, and bonus incentives. Part-time hours are available but must include Tuesday and Thursday, and ideally a commitment to full-time hours is preferred. Dental experience required. Orthodontic experience and radiology certification are preferred but not required.

Ability to travel to both our Wayne and Paoli offices is required.
