**Description**
North Carolina Specialty Hospital is hiring for a part time Courier. Monday - Friday 12:00p-5:00p.
Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, this position provides general delivery services between home location and neighboring healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities and Duties
Follows safe driving practices
Responds timely to issues
Collects mail and delivers to Post Office
Delivers office and medical supplies as needed
Drives patients (via facility's van) to nearby facilities as needed
Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have a current, active driver's license with a clean driving record
Must have effective communication skills, both orally and written
Computer skills preferred (knowledge of Microsoft Office applications)
Must be able to speak and write in English
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift 75 lbs+
Must be able to pull, push, sustain exertion of 75 lbs+
Covid-19 precautions - Mandatory staff vaccinations, face masks, social distancing, patient testing, visitor restrictions, and terminal cleaning.
