Position Overview:
Elliston Vineyards is seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as part-time Tasting Lounge Staff . The ideal candidates will have a passion for wine, exceptional customer service skills, and a positive attitude to create memorable experiences for our visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors, offering guidance and assistance in wine and food selection.
- Maintain a clean and inviting environment, including setup and breakdown.
- Effectively communicate wine club memberships, promotions, and upcoming events to guests.
- Process wine sales accurately through our POS system and handle cash transactions.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and organizing merchandise.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in the restaurants or wine industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and interact with customers.
- Passion for wine and eagerness to learn about different varietals and wine regions.
- Positive attitude with a focus on providing outstanding service to every guest.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
Schedule and Compensation:
- This position is part-time, with variable hours based on business needs.
