Position Summary
Do you have a penchant for organizing, collaborating, smiling, and having fun? We are a medical stabilization unit located in a prominent hospital. Our team provides support and medical care to those patients undergoing alcohol and drug withdrawals, among other medical complications. We are looking for a rock star patient care tech that can help be the eyes, ears, and face of the unit!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting and supporting the nursing department in:
- Administrative responsibilities.
- Observation rounding on patients.
- Performing admission screenings.
- Searching new intakes.
- Answering phones, greeting patients and their care team.
- Organizing records and patients.
- Keeping logs of activities.
- Work closely with nursing leadership to:
- Maintain communication platforms.
- Keep logs of activities.
- Contribute to culture initiatives.
- Spend time working with patients and providers.
- Help make sure the unit flows in a safe, smooth, and positive way.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Communication and a positive and high energy demeanor are paramount for the success in this role!
Education & Experience
- Healthcare or medical: 2 years (Required)
