Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Neonatologist to join our pediatric team in Flagstaff, Arizona. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for newborns, particularly those with critical or complex medical conditions, and will work closely with families and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care for neonates in the NICU and delivery room.
Assess and manage newborns with various health conditions, including prematurity and congenital anomalies.
Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Conduct rounds and participate in case discussions to ensure high-quality patient care.
Educate families about their infants' health conditions and care needs.
Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics with a focus on Neonatology.
Valid medical license in Arizona or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) setting is preferred.
