Pride Health is hiring a Pharmacist to support our client’s medical facility in Kealakekua, HI . This is a 13-week assignment (with the Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great opportunity to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Title: Pharmacist (Contract Assignment)
Location: Kealakekua, HI 96750
Shift: Days, Evenings, Weekends
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Responsibilities:
- Provided comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a 94-bed acute care hospital, supporting patient safety and optimal medication outcomes.
- Worked collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to review, prepare, and dispense medications across multiple shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Ensured compliance with hospital policies, state, and federal regulations while maintaining a strong focus on clinical accuracy and patient education.
- Participated in order verification, medication reconciliation, and inventory management to support continuity of care.
- Adapted to a dynamic environment with varying shift demands, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism throughout the assignment.
