Job Title: Pharmacist – Acute Care

Location: Minot, ND 58701

Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital | Trauma Level II | Bed Size: 150–500

Shift: Day/Evening/Weekend Rotation | 8-hour shifts | Monday–Sunday

Schedule: 40 hours/week | Holiday coverage required

Duration: 30 weeks

Start Date: ASAP (Rapid Response Crisis)

Guaranteed Hours: 40/week

On-Call: None

EMR: Cerner (preferred)

Other Systems: Pyxis (preferred)

Position Summary:

Seeking an experienced Pharmacist for an acute care setting in Minot, ND. This is a rapid response contract requiring flexibility for day, evening, and weekend rotations. The ideal candidate will have strong inpatient pharmacy skills and experience with sterile compounding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately in an acute care environment
• Perform sterile compounding and maintain compliance with safety standards
• Review medication orders for appropriateness and accuracy
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Utilize Cerner EMR and Pyxis systems for medication management
• Provide clinical support and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Active North Dakota Pharmacist License (must be current)
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience
• Sterile compounding experience (preferred)
• Cerner EMR experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of Pyxis medication dispensing systems (preferred)
