Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) Contractor to join their team supporting the Drug Discovery program. This contractor will play a critical role in developing the PK/PD program strategy, ensuring the effective design and implementation of studies that evaluate the behavior of therapeutic candidates both in humans and animals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in PK/PD, including hands-on experience with both human and animal data, along with a proven ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively to a wide range of audiences. This includes not only technical experts, such as bench scientists in the lab, but also interdisciplinary teams like mathematicians and data analysts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including drug discovery scientists, mathematicians, and data scientists, to develop and refine the PK/PD program strategy for drug candidates.
- Analyze PK/PD data from both human and animal studies, providing insights to guide decisions in drug development.
- Develop and apply quantitative models to understand the drug’s pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, using both preclinical and clinical data.
- Communicate complex PK/PD concepts and results to a broad range of stakeholders, including laboratory scientists, mathematicians, and senior leadership, ensuring that data and strategies are clearly understood.
- Ideally this person will have a PhD in Engineering, Pharmacometrics, or another related field
