Overview
We are seeking two experienced Phlebotomists to join a busy Patient Service Center in North Providence. This is a high-volume location where you’ll provide direct patient care through blood draws and specimen collection. You’ll work independently but as part of a supportive team, ensuring patients receive safe, efficient, and compassionate service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages
- Accurately identify patients and specimens following established protocols
- Label, record, and log all specimens; enter data into the computer system
- Prepare specimens for processing and testing
- Maintain sterile equipment and follow strict safety and infection-control protocols
- Adapt to a high-volume workflow and work independently when needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy or related clinical experience (high-volume experience strongly preferred)
- Phlebotomy certification not required – Medical Assistants with strong blood draw experience are welcome to apply
- Must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and patient-centered care skills
Schedule & Location
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Saturday hours optional)
