The Pilot Plant Technician plays a crucial role in supporting operations at the R&D Pilot Plant facility. This position involves various responsibilities, including the setup, assembly, disassembly, cleaning, sanitization, and basic maintenance of pilot-scale processing and filling equipment.
A key aspect of the role is to assist Process Engineer(s) during batching and filling activities throughout the product development cycle. Ensuring a smooth day-to-day functioning of the unit and the facility is organized and prepared to support project-related activities.
This is a hands-on role, the Technician will be actively involved in assembling or moving equipment such as homogenizers, pumps, fillers, hoses, etc. Additionally, meticulous attention to detail is essential to complete required documentation accurately, timely, and legibly, in adherence to applicable regulations and company policies, practices, and procedures.
The successful execution of these responsibilities will contribute significantly to the efficiency and success of the facility's operations.
