Job Title: Plant Manager

About the Company:
George Thomas has partnered with a leader in sustainable materials management, driving towards a carbon-negative future. They are looking to appoint a Plant Manager to lead a 24/7 facility, managing a team of 80+ employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities.
- Ensure safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence.
- Develop and manage O&M budgets and Long-Term Maintenance Plans.
- Lead maintenance and outage planning/execution.
- Drive Lean practices for continuous improvement.
- Foster strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years in Waste to Energy, Biomass, Nuclear, or Power Generation.
- 5+ years as a Plant Manager or Facility Manager.
- Proven leadership in budget management and operational performance.
- Experience in safety and environmental best practices.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, or business field; Master’s preferred.
- Relevant certifications (CFO, Lean Six Sigma, PMP) highly desired.
