APG Printing Solutions has an immediate full-time opening for a Prepress Associate at our Princeton, MN location.
This is a Second Shift Position with possible Weekend shifts.

The role of the Prepress Associate includes:
• Assure files meet quality standards for print production and match provided job order specifications.
• Review files vs. job details, bleeds, specs, fold and/or finished size.
• Troubleshooting / Preflight of customer production files.
• Process customer supplied files in preparation for output to plate.
• Use page pairing software to impose files for output.
• Proof jobs for accuracy on press.

Qualifications:
• Ability to maintain a consistently high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and conduct self professionally.
• Ability to assess multiple tasks and develop a plan to complete them in a logical and efficient manner.
• Strong PC skills, with at least a basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of graphics software applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat recommended.
• Knowledge of page layout and platemaking, or a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of offset printing.
• Previous prepress or graphics experience preferred, but not required.
• Must possess an excellent attention to detail.
