When you step into a career with AT&T, you won't just imagine the future-you'll create it.As a Principal Scrum Master, you will be guiding a scrum team on using agile scrum development methodology which allows the team to self- organize and make changes quickly.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Assesses the maturity of the scrum team, providing support and coaching their team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable to the team.Removes impediments and/or guides the team on how to remove impediments. Facilitates and leads Agile ceremonies (Daily Standup, Demonstration, Story Point Estimation, Retrospective, Iteration Planning, Backlog Grooming) and fosters continuous improvement. Collaborates with team members, but does not act as a manager, lead developer, Project Manager, or Product Owner.Remove impediments to a team's productivity by shielding them from outside influences. Empower teams and facilitate creativity while guarding quality and monitoring iteration progress while striving for successful completion. Represent the team to management. Disseminate information to the team, including metrics and charts. Work with other Scrum Masters to ensure organizational process improvement.Builds and maintains a trusting and safe environment where problems and issues can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged. Protects the team from external distractions, allowing the team to focus on the work to which they have committed.Lead and coordinate a Scaled Agile or Agile effort across multiple scrum teams. Routinely sought out for advice and guidance regarding Scaled Agile and/or Agile processes and implementation.Ability to move flexibly across initiatives and teams as needs of the business require. Required Experience:8-10 years' experience preferred. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.Desired Experience:Demonstrated software development or technology preferred.Required Education/Certifications:SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) for Lean Software and System Engineering certification.Desired Education:Bachelors of Science degree in any Technical, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience preferred.Our Principal Scrum Master earns between $141,300 - $237,400 annually.Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
