Position Description: Elementary Teacher

Grade Level: First Grade

Qualifications

• Demonstrate proficiency in differentiated instruction in math and reading/language arts
• Understand the use of data to develop and drive instruction
• Ability to target instruction to the needs of individual students
• Possess effective classroom management skills
• Possess strong skills in communication and interaction with parents
• Support a model of self-reflection and continuous improvement
• Evidence of being a team player with creativity and enthusiasm
• Committed to meaningful and ongoing professional development
• Must hold a Florida Professional Educator’s Certificate or be eligible for certification
• Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience (desired)
