THE COMPANY

MGX CREATIVE is a full-service creative and production partner specializing in film, TV, digital, and branded content. Our studio and post-production facility is headquartered in Los Angeles with teams working across development, creative, production, and post.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a full-time Production Manager to join our team and oversee the planning, logistics, and execution of our Film & TV and Branded Content projects. The ideal candidate is a resourceful and passionate problem-solver who can collaborate effectively with our Creative, Production, and Post-Production teams. In this role, you will work closely with our Head of Production during the pre-production and production stages. While we currently operate remotely, candidates have the option to work from our Los Angeles office. This position requires physical attendance on set, and all applicants must be based in LA to accommodate frequent in-person tasks.

 

THE DUTIES

• Interface with clients alongside the HOP to make sure their needs are met
• Source, vet, and book freelance cast & crew members
• Assist with managing production budgets
• Quote negotiation with various production vendors
• Securing vehicles, production supplies, equipment rentals, etc
• Assisting with talent negotiations and usage rights
• Assisting with building call sheets, location research, casting process
• Experience field PM’ing on unscripted and documentary projects is a plus

THE REQUIREMENTS AND PLUSES

• LA based 
• 2-3 years of physical production experience
• Proficiency in HotBudget (MovieMagic a plus)
• Great organizational, time management, and problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt to production challenges and last minute changes
• A passion to create great work
