Jost Vineyards, Atlantic Canada largest vineyard is located on the beautiful North Shore of Nova Scotia. We are excited to be celebrating our 40th anniversary of providing our family of customer’s with award winning, Nova Scotia fine wines. As we grow and build on our success, we are searching for Production Workers to help us achieve our goals.
The individual will be required to:
• Work in a safe and efficient manner
• Assist with preparation, cleaning, and setting up of equipment with the bottling, bagging and canning lines.
. Assist with Cellar duties; including Wine Movements, Tank Cleaning and other Cellar duties as necessary.
• Operate equipment, ensuring that we meet all safety, quality and production standards.
• Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Work on the Crush Pad during Harvest completing tasks as required.
• Be committed to working in an environment that strives for continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will have the following:
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to keep a clean, neat and tidy work area.
• Ability to lift 20+ kg.
• Work in a multi-tasking fast paced production environment (noise, moving equipment, lifting, bending, carrying cases).
• Ability to prioritize.
• Excellent organization skills are critical.
• Work 42.5 hours per week plus overtime when required.
