We are looking for a Full-Time Residential Professor of Biology, in the Maumee OH Campus:
Position Overview:
- Location: Maumee, Ohio campus
- Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 for full-time faculty
- Role: Teach Biology within the Nursing program, including courses like Anatomy and Physiology
Responsibilities:
- Create a positive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with students
- Evaluate student progress and provide tutoring
- Advise students on course issues
- Teach assigned courses according to the syllabus
- Design effective teaching strategies
- Monitor student attendance and performance
- Record attendance and grades in CAMS
- Maintain student resources in CAMS
- Participate in faculty meetings and program improvement studies
- Represent the College positively
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Biology or related field
- One year of college-level teaching experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to coordinate assignments and projects independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based LMS
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
