Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner ( PMHNP ) for our Behavioral Health Agency. This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday - Friday. Available to work at least 2 evenings until 8pm.
Qualifications of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner ( PMHNP ):
- NP or PA license in the state of Illinois
- Board Certification
- DEA license
- Clinical background in Psychiatry
- 1+ years of experience as a PMHNP
Responsibilities of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner ( PMHNP ):
- Treating mental health and behavioral conditions for all age groups
- Providing consultations, follow up assessments and evaluation to patients
- Prescribing appropriate medications, including controlled substances
- Medication management and Spravato
- Seeing a range of 16 to 20 patients a day
- Complete visit documentation for billing purposes
