Job Description:

We are looking to hire a Senior Python developer who can work independently from the Houston office. The ideal candidate should be technically strong and capable of operating with minimal supervision.
The role requires experience in Python/software development, not just scripting. Proficiency in multiprocessing is essential.
Our tech stack includes Kubernetes (via Docker), Kafka, Azure, and GitHub.
Experience in how distributed asynchronous systems work, how to design them to avoid data conflicts and how to do it all in immutable environments orchestrated across multiple machines.
So far, most of the profiles received lack the necessary experience to function as a technical lead. Specifically, we've seen limited or no experience in architectural design, mentoring, or stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, adaptable to technological evolution, and focused on delivering business value. While experience in the energy sector is a plus, it's not mandatory. A financial background would also be beneficial.
