Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic QA Lead with expertise in both *Automation* and *Functional* testing to join our growing team. As the QA Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing the overall quality strategy, guiding the QA team, and ensuring the successful execution of both manual and automated testing efforts. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Mentorship
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of QA engineers (functional and automation).
Provide guidance on best practices, test strategies, and QA processes.
Conduct regular performance reviews and facilitate career growth for QA team members.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Test Planning & Strategy
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for both functional and automated testing.
Functional Testing
Lead functional testing efforts, including test case creation, execution, and defect management.
Ensure thorough test coverage across all product features, with attention to edge cases and potential failure points.
Conduct manual testing where required, including regression testing, system integration testing, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
Test Automation
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks.
Ensure the automated tests are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and fast feedback loops.
Drive automation efforts across the product portfolio, identifying and prioritizing areas for automation to improve efficiency and coverage.
Utilize tools such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar technologies for test automation.
