About the Role
Location: Ocala, FL (relocation assistance may be provided)
Pay: $65,000 - $80,000
A leading and rapidly growing clinical research site in Ocala, FL, specializing in neurology and Alzheimer’s studies, is seeking a Patient Recruitment Specialist to strengthen participant outreach and enrollment efforts. This fully onsite position combines clinic-based responsibilities with community engagement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building connections and driving impact in clinical research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement recruitment strategies for current and upcoming trials
- Connect with potential participants through phone, email, in-person visits, and community events
- Manage recruitment databases and monitor campaign results
- Partner with marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and materials
- Represent the site at health fairs, community events, and outreach activities
- Pre-screen interested candidates and coordinate next steps with clinical staff
- Provide clear communication and excellent service to all prospective participants
- Support enrollment in Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other cognitive disorder studies
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of patient recruitment or outreach experience in clinical research or healthcare
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging diverse groups
- Prior experience with Alzheimer’s or dementia trials strongly preferred
- Skilled at managing multiple recruitment efforts and tracking performance metrics
- Available to work fully onsite and attend community events as needed
- Highly organized, enthusiastic, and motivated to improve patient access to research
