Come Join the CaroMont Team as a RN in Labor and Delivery!

Who we are: CaroMont Health is a 476-bed hospital located in Gastonia, North Carolina with a Level III Trauma Center, State-of-the-art birthing center with level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Nationally-accredited Cancer Center and Cancer Care program, Freestanding Emergency Department in Mount Holly, North Carolina Network of over 50 primary and specialty care physician offices and a 66-bed hospital in Belmont, North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities: To render professional nursing care to a group of assigned patients within the hospital. Collaborates with the medical staff and other members of the health care team to provide quality patient care. Performs all activities in accordance with approved policies and guides. Supervises and delegates appropriate duties to ancillary personnel.

Qualifications :

• Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license).
• BSN preferred; professional nursing certification preferred.
• Recent acute care experience within past 3 years preferred.
• Meets general hospital and departmental competency requirements.
• Current technical certificates such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) , Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) as required by specialty area.
