We're Hiring: Research Scientist (Onsite – Hershey, PA)

Client is looking for a hands-on, curious, and detail-driven Research Scientis t to join their Chocolate Product Development R&D Team in Hershey, PA .

This role is all about rolling up your sleeves and getting involved with pilot plant trials , lab-scale testing , and cross-functional collaboration . You'll help bring new chocolate innovations to life—supporting everything from equipment testing and production protocols to documentation , troubleshooting , and process monitoring .

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with R&D leads to prep and run large-scale production tests
• Track equipment performance, yields, downtime, and quality metrics
• Identify and escalate product issues quickly and clearly
• Learn and maintain R&D equipment; document SOPs
• Work closely with teams across R&D, quality, and operations

What We’re Looking For:

• BS in Science or Engineering preferred
• Experience in food manufacturing, labs, pilot plants, or GMP environments
• Strong written/oral communication and documentation skills
• Comfortable working on your feet in a lab or production setting
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work with food allergens while using PPE
• Solid Microsoft Office skills
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

This is an onsite role in Hershey, PA where you'll be part of a fast-moving, high-impact R&D program.
