Job Summary
Responsible for the operation of the Aladdin Temp-Rite Puerto Rico office, warehouse and managing Puerto Rico sales territory.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Forecast and control expenses related to operations.
- Fiscal operational responsibility for the location to include payment of operational expenses, accounts receivable, freight, maintenance and operational costs of company vehicles, taxes, workers compensation, sales volume taxes, and other necessary costs to maintain company operations.
- Management of operations human resources.
- Manage and grow sales in the territory.
- Ensure that contract service requirements to the customer base is met.
- Maintain warehouse turns to maintain inventory at acceptable levels and minimum cost. Maintain accurate warehouse inventory to meet daily operational requirements.
- Manage and coordinate daily shipments to the customer base.
- Manage distributors for Puerto Rico and ensure all orders comply with necessary documentation and shipping requirements.
- Act as the resident agent for the company before the government of Puerto Rico and ensure that all corporate laws and requirements are met.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Must be goal-oriented and have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to set and meet priorities, establish work plans and objectives, maintain adequate records, provide timely marketplace feedback, and perform duties under general supervision.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in carrying out assigned responsibilities.
- Must possess good working knowledge of PCs and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must be willing and able to travel as business demands throughout the territory.
- Must be proficient in English and Spanish languages.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or applicable work experience
- Minimum of ten (10) years of successful sales and sales management experience.
- Knowledge of the institutional food service industry and/or healthcare system is highly preferred.
