Eastern Quality Foods has an opportunity available for a Seafood Sales Specialist reporting to the Director of Operations of our Atlanta Seafood Division.

Eastern’s Atlanta Seafood Importing Division specializes in the sale of frozen seafood to foodservice distributors throughout the mid-Atlantic and southeastern United States. We are looking for a Seafood Sales Specialist for a well-capitalized environment to leverage his or her existing book of business and develop new opportunities. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of seafood sourcing and market trends, along with strong industry relationships to drive sales growth. We prefer to fill this position in Atlanta, GA.

Position Overview:

• Leverage existing relationships to generate seafood sales at foodservice distributors.
• Manage existing accounts with an emphasis on building strong client relationships.
• Develop new business opportunities in food service and wholesale distribution sectors, including expansion into other geographic markets.
• Work with food service distributor buyers and/or attend distributor sales meetings as necessary.
• Provide company representation at customer food shows.
• Gather and report market information to customer relationships and the internal sales team.

Position Overview:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in seafood sales, specifically within the food service industry
• Deep understanding of seafood products, pricing, and market trends
• Proven track record of managing and growing an existing book of business
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to build lasting customer relationships
• Proactive, growth-driven mindset with a focus on expanding sales opportunities
• Willingness to travel and engage directly with key food service clients
