Senior Epic Systems Analyst at Highmark Health in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Company : enGen Job Description : JOB SUMMARY This job is responsible for the configuration, rollout, and ongoing support of the assigned Epic application(s). Responsibilities include business/systems analysis, requirements definition and documentation, systems design, and problem resolution. The Senior Epic analyst communicates with end-users of the system to understand and resolve complex issues and implement solutions. Senior Analysts are subject matter experts in their area of knowledge. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES + Plans, designs/builds, tests, implements and maintains Epic software. + Develops and documents workflow analysis while evaluating user experience. Supports and maintains environment or applications using advanced knowledge of the application(s) and technologies in the environment while recommending enterprise-level solutions. + Using advanced knowledge of Epic, configures changes within the system to provide standardized, comprehensive workflows. Makes decisions that refine and improve current practices; develops new approaches and recommends solutions by researching best practices and assessing new technologies or functionality. + Contributes to/manages medium to large moderately complex projects that are broad in scope and require depth of knowledge. Updates stakeholders as appropriate on a timely basis regarding progress on assigned tasks, projects, and issues. + Conducts problem-solving and root cause analysis to complete assignments and visualize, articulate, and solve moderately complex problems. Participates in and may lead continuous improvement initiatives. + Guides and assists with training less experienced Analysts. May serve as a subject-matter expert in the assigned module(s). EXPERIENCE Required + 5 years experience with systems administration experience within one or more Epic environments. Preferred + 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
