Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD tools.
Apply advanced GD&T principles to ensure design intent is clearly communicated and consistently interpreted across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Perform tolerance stack-ups and risk assessments to ensure robust fit and function under manufacturing variability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and schedule requirements.
Conduct design reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices for GD&T, DFM/DFA, and engineering standards.
Generate and maintain detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation in accordance with ASME Y14.5 standards.
Support prototype builds, testing, and validation of new products.
Drive continuous improvement in design processes and standards.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related experience.
Minimum 3 plus years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
Proficient in GD&T with strong knowledge of tolerance analysis and dimensional control.
Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD software.
Demonstrate experience with materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
