Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer / Test Lead
Duration: 24+ Months
Location: Albany, NY ( Please share local candidates ) (100% Onsite)
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor level or higher degree in computer science computer engineering, math or related engineering fields.
- Experience in creating test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for manual testing.
- Experience in validating the data mapping of the fields between the legacy and newly developed systems.
- Experience in documenting, reporting, tracking, assigning, and escalating defects appropriately; performing thorough regression testing when defects are resolved.
- Experience in providing guidelines, reviews and support to developers and business analysts creating unit tests and integrating them into the build cycles.
- Experience in ensuring that requirements and deliverables are verified and validated at each testing phase and final acceptance.
- Experience using industry recognized testing tools such as soapUI, Selenium Suite (Selenium IDE, Selenium Server, Selenium Remote Control, Selenium Grid, Selenium Java Client Driver); Agile; Silk Test; HPE Unified Functional Testing (UFT), HP LoadRunner, HP Performance Center.
- Creating and performing automated testing.
Responsibilities
- The consultant will be performing testing tasks including Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for manual as well as automated testing to address business use cases Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities Validate the data mapping of the fields between the legacy and the PORTS & Grants systems
