Job Description
Summary:
Meet Recruitment is partnered with a leading biotech to hire a Robotics Engineer to join their team. You’ll design, deploy, and maintain robotic platforms to optimize sequencing processes, working closely with scientists to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
3 days in person per week
Responsibilities:
- Automate lab processes using robotic systems and liquid handlers (Opentrons, TECAN, Hamilton, etc.)
- Develop and optimize Python (Django/Flask) code for robotic control and system integration
- Work with scientists to refine lab protocols and ensure smooth automation
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues in real-time
Qualifications:
- BS, MS, or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Biology, or relevant field
- 5+ years of experience with lab robotics, including liquid handling systems
- Industry experience with Python
- Hands-on experience working with liquid handlers (OpenTrons, TECAN, Hamilton, etc.)
- Experience with embedded systems (Raspberry Pi, Arduino) and deploying software across devices
