Position: Sonographer
Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our client's team on a full-time basis. As a Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams using specialized equipment and techniques
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Accurately record and analyze images and data for interpretation by physicians
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of treatment for patients
- Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition
- Follow established protocols and safety standards to ensure the accuracy and quality of imaging results
- Educate patients on the procedure and answer any questions or concerns they may have
- Keep accurate records of patient information and maintain patient confidentiality
- Continuously stay updated on industry developments and advancements in technology and techniques
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in using ultrasound equipment and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift and move equipment and assist patients as needed
- Night shift required
