Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in St. Petersburg, FL for a SouthSeas Tapas Restaurant Manager at SkyBeach Resort. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality. Key responsibilities include managing staff hiring and training, monitoring customer satisfaction, and ensuring effective communication within the team and with guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations of SouthSeas Tapas, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience
• Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing service team with a focus on hospitality excellence
• Maintain strong communication between the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure exceptional food and beverage delivery
• Monitor guest satisfaction and service quality, responding promptly and professionally to feedback
• Manage staffing schedules, cost controls, and inventory oversight
• Partner with culinary leadership on seasonal menus, wine pairings, and promotional events
• Uphold brand standards and ensure the restaurant reflects the polished, coastal aesthetic of the SkyBeach Resort

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in upscale restaurant or resort dining management
• Proven track record of delivering elevated customer service and guest satisfaction
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with experience in hiring and staff development
• In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine and cocktail service
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-volume, hospitality-driven environment
• Experience with restaurant openings or new concept launches is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
