Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Design: Create and tailor engaging special education curricula for online platforms.
Individualized Learning Materials: Develop digital resources that address the unique needs of each student.
Virtual IEPs and Learning Plans: Design and implement effective virtual Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and learning plans.
Online Instruction: Deliver online instruction and provide support to students with disabilities to ensure their success.
Collaboration: Work closely with general education teachers to promote inclusive practices and enhance student learning.
Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct virtual assessments and monitor student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in team planning sessions to stay updated with best practices.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Master's degree in Special Education or Curriculum Development.
Licensing: Valid teaching license with a special education endorsement.
Experience: 4+ years of experience in special education and curriculum design.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Creativity: Excellent creativity and innovation in developing online resources.
