Job Description
Onward Search Education is partnering with a school district in Silverdale, WA to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2025–2026 school year.
Location: Silverdale, WA
Start Date: August 22, 2025
End Date: June 16, 2026 (with a possible extension through June 24)
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Grade Level: Elementary (may include early childhood)
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Caseload: Approximately 50 students
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals.
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Washington State SLP License and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification (or ability to obtain before the start date)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based experience is a plus
