Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team, providing high-quality teletherapy services to clients across Alabama. In this role, you will use advanced teletherapy technology to assess, develop, and deliver personalized treatment plans that help clients achieve their communication goals—all from the convenience of a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Virtual Assessments: Perform comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in a virtual environment.
Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized teletherapy plans that align with each client's unique needs and goals.
Deliver Therapy Sessions Remotely: Use evidence-based practices and innovative technology to engage clients in high-quality, impactful therapy sessions.
Collaborate with Care Teams: Work closely with caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support the client's progress and goals.
Document Progress and Outcomes: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure ongoing success.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF).
Licensure: Active licensure as an SLP in the state of Alabama.
Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy (teletherapy experience is a plus, but not required).
