Frederick Fox has paired with an industry leading organization in search of a CRE Underwriter. In this underwriting role you will analyze the credit history of loan applicants, and approve or deny $3MM to $25MM loans. You will also be servicing and tracking loans for risk trends, payment status, documentation, insurance, and credit exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the credit worthiness of loan applicants
• Review personal credit scores
• Prepare loan presentation sheets
• Draft commitment letters for loan officer’s final approval.
• Review legal documents for adherence to approved loan terms
• Assign risk ratings
• Support loan administration
• Perform OFAC background checks on borrowers and guarantors
• Process payment of third-party invoices

Requirements

• 4+ years’ Commercial Real Estate underwriting, including a strong understanding of credit
