Are you a skilled and dedicated Property Claims Adjuster with a passion for delivering exceptional client service? We're looking for a Senior Property Claims Adjuster to join our dynamic field claims team. In this role, you'll ensure a smooth and satisfying experience for our clients by investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling property claims.
What You'll Do:
- Investigate and Evaluate Claims: Determine policy coverage, assess damages, and negotiate settlements. You'll use both physical and virtual inspection methods, including cutting-edge technologies like drones.
- Client Interaction: Reach out to insureds, claimants, and relevant parties to collect information, explain the claims process, and obtain necessary statements.
- Inspect Damaged Property: Perform thorough inspections, evaluate damages, and create detailed estimates in line with policy provisions and liability.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Ideally, you have 7 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
- Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Xactimate, and other claims estimating software. Knowledge of residential and commercial construction techniques is a plus.
- Licensing: Maintain the appropriate adjuster's licensing for the states in which we operate.
- Language: Multilingual skills are preferred.
What You'll Need:
- Technology: Comfort with virtual claim handling software and innovative inspection technologies.
- Mobility: Ability to drive a company vehicle, with occasional physical demands such as climbing ladders and inspecting properties in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Willingness to work beyond standard hours as needed, and to potentially be called for catastrophic events.
