Title: Staff Accountant
Department: Accounting
Reports To: Accounting Manager
Job Summary & General Duties:
- Apply principles of accounting and internal policies to process invoices, employee expense reimbursements and corporate credit card receipts
- Review, reconcile and enter shipping transactions on a weekly basis
- Contacting inventory vendors monthly for any outstanding invoices
- Research and resolve issues with vendors
- Performs deep analysis of shipping data to work with management on shipping contract performance
- Audit credit card transactions
- Deposits checks into bank weekly
- Ensures the integrity of accounting information in all duties
- Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
- Maintains historical records by scanning, filing, and auditing documents timely
- Protects organization values by keeping confidential information
- Accomplishes Accounting and AdvoCare mission by thoroughly understanding and following policies and procedures
- Special projects and analysis assigned

Knowledge and Skills:
- Working knowledge of accounting
- Proficient in MS Office Suite. Advanced skills in Excel

- Strong written and verbal skills
- Organized self-starter, able to set priorities
- Working knowledge of internal controls
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
