Responsibilities

- Conducting legal research and analyzing statutes and judicial decisions.

- Assisting in the review of motions for rehearing.

Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Texas.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of legal principles in civil law.
- Expertise in Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure and Uniform System of Citation.
- Strong skills in legal research, writing, and editing.
- Ability to analyze legal issues and communicate conclusions effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in appellate courts (4-6 years in private practice).
- Top 20% of law school class or experience on a law review/publication.
- Moot court or mock trial experience.
