Job: 2nd Shift Structural Fitter/Welder
Location: Houston, TX 77064
Pay: $18 - 22/HR + OT
Weekly Day Range: Monday – Friday, Saturday as needed
Shift: Applicants are expected to be able to work for 6-8 weeks training on 1st shift (6AM to 4:30PM) then transition to 2nd shift - 4PM - 2:30AM (or later depending on production)

Structural Fitter/Welder Job Description
- Layout and fit-up with minimal supervision
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, including weld symbols
- Calibrating/setting welding machines
- GMAW welding of Aluminum may be required up to and including 3/16 thickness.
- Ability to read engineering drawings to determine weld size requirements.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and/or moving of 100 pounds and over,
- Frequent lifting and/or carrying odd shaped objects weighing up to 75 pounds, and up to 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to comprehend additional training in relation to the performing of the work duties.
