Job Summary

Our client is currently seeking for a Structural Steel Detailer whose role include  understanding of steel purchasing, fabrication, and erection operations. Apply all information on drawings to facilitate these operations and know the basics of miscellaneous steel detailing and construction.

Job Description

• Will be the understanding of steel purchasing, fabrication, and erection operations. Apply all information on drawings to facilitate these operations. (Required)
• Communicate project conditions to supervisor
• Operate 3D modeling system, Tekla structures.
• Follow procedures when transmitting information or drawings
• Know the basics of miscellaneous steel detailing and construction
• Make decisions based on the best interest of the company

Skills Required

• Not required having any Tekla experience
• Any 3D modeling software is a plus
• Must have a solid background in steel detailing.
• Minimum of 4 years of recent experience modeling. Preferably with bridge and structural experience
• Must have 4 years of experience with Tekla Structures 
• Must have knowledge of basic principle of structural steel detailing.
• Ability to read design drawings.

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate/Salary

• $40.00/hr
