Seeking a Tool & Die Machinist for an industrial manufacturing company in Omaha, Nebraska.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manufacture a wide range of power transmission components
- Assemble components to create complete tools and dies Operate various machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders, CNC machines) to shape and form materials
- Standard stock and custom made such as Specialty Parts/Wheel Hubs/Jacks, Couplers, Clutches/Tubing/Threaded Rod, PTO Drivelines & Components, Sheaves & Pulleys, Power Transmission Sprockets, Sprockets, Gears, and Roller Chain Sprockets
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in turning, milling, drilling, shaping, and grinding machine parts to specifications
- Experience with filing and adjusting parts so that they fit together properly
- Experience with measuring, examining, and testing completed products for defects
- Experience testing completed tools and dies to ensure that they meet specifications
- Self-motivated and Goal oriented
- Innovative
- Organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Develop action plans
